Source of the post Bright side: Guy Fieri is going to be at Disneyland this year. So at least there's that.
Maybe I should switch this Disney trip to Disneyland to meet up with you?

I missed my calling anyway, they dismantled the BTTF ride before I got to it. My Disney escape plan was always just to placate the wife for a day in Disney and then go to Universal the rest of the time.
That was Universal. But to be fair, it was a pretty good ride.

My understanding of the Disney food and wine festival is that it's largely just the existing restaurants inside the parks with a few special events dotted throughout the property. So you're just going to Disneyland (or EPCOT or whatever) on a regular day, there are just some extra food options avail...

With the food and wine thing, the crowd will trend older, right?
Not necessarily. That festival spans several weeks.

I don't understand why bus stops are put at every intersection. I didn't notice the road were covered with snow until i looked out the window at 7 am. So instead of leaving at 7:30 to ride the bike in, i had to leave at 7:30 to catch the bus. took an extra 30 minutes on the bus. There are roughly 2...

Heavier rain today than recent days. It was the first time since we moved that I encountered what this displaced Angeleno would recognize as actual 'traffic'.

The Sessions thing is just a public spectacle, but the real issue would be the financial disclosures from guys like Tillerson. The disclosures are supposed to be completed ...

https://twitter.com/FiveThirtyEight/status/818820581844025344 In the broadest terms, this is more or less as it should be. Most people acknowledge its cringy. The disconnect is in people who dismiss the tweets as an insular ecosystem vs people who view it as a pattern predictor..... a window into the Trump soul, if you will. Between the twitters and his public spoken statements, there is zero indication that he is able...

It's crazy how much a celebrity can get under his skin. He relates to these people and wants so bad to be amongst them. Usually olive oil (I've never tried butter with chicken), thyme and garlic, then use the bag juices to make a pan sauce. (When you use stemmed herbs in a SV bag, put them against the underside of the product, so they don't leave an impression in the flesh)

With the appraised value coming in so low, once you tack those repairs on to the price of the house we're basically at the n...

Its way more common than you'd think. On many new home constructions they designate a closet in the house as the media closet and all source devices for the entire home go in there, as well as networking gear. The house we're in contract on (for now...) has a hall closet that's almost exactly in th...
