Steve Downie

Bass on the season?

I think it depends on the money. If it's low enough, I absolutely want him back. Rather have him on our team than on a team playing us.
Oops, yeah, that should be based. How/can I edit that?

Steve Downie

I wondered what everyone's opinion of Steve Downie was given the season he's had so far.

Personally, I love his mixture of craziness and ability to contribute to the scoreboard. If he has a positive playoffs, I'd like to see him back next year.

3.29.15 Official GDT: Penguins vs Sharks

Watched the game this morning without checking the score and must admit to being really concerned when it went to 2-2. Happy the points are in the bag and that the team held on. One play I will watch again is from the 1st period when Horny took 2 Sharks out of the game at the same time. Love the way...

Bad news for Letang and the Pens. Hope he recovers and can get back in for the playoffs.

Who is likely to be called up? Harrington or Doumolin?

Out with my better half and the in-laws so just keeping an eye on the box score.

Hope the team are playing well and can get the win.

HCMJ's mother passed away

Sad news, brave of him to coach this weekend. Hope the team can pull one out of the bag for him.

This is my kind of thread. I have a bottle of Jura Prophecy open just now. 46.5% and it tastes lovely. :P Very jealous. If I recall correctly, you are in the homeland for Scotch. I really hope to one day take a scotch tour of the distilleries with my boys sans wives Yeah, I do indeed live in Scotla...

Malkin "so bad now"

'listen to the coach'

I find that interesting and wonder if there is an issue between players and coach?
Perhaps some players and the coach...Geno sounds like he's on board.
I hope so, This team needs him right now.

Anyone else forget how much good stuff you have until you put your iPod on shuffle? Absolutely! I'm always pleased when I shuffle my library and find good song after good song. Also, here's Buddy Rich vs. Animal drum battle :thumb: i shuffled in the car on the way to work this morning and was...

I loved Italian football round about that time. I supported Parma when they had Zola and Asprilla up front. What a strike force that was!

Can't wait for next weekend. Arsenal v. Liverpool, super high stakes. I think it'll finally be a statement that Arsenal are not who we thought they were, i.e., they're going to win this big game.
Should be a cracking game. Athough Leeds are my English team, I've always had a soft spot for Arsenal.

I root for Hibs in Scotland, Portsmouth FC in England, Lazio in Italy, and Wolfsburg in Germany.

I hope there's loads of hockey talk. That's what I visited LGP for to begin with. It just became really boring and repetitive with the same chat back and forth between a few people.

I know quite a few of you guys enjoy soccer so thought a thread would be good.

I'm a Falkirk fan but enjoy watching the EPL although my English team is Leeds. Also enjoy La Liga.

Enjoy! :)

Re: Who Are You?

I always went to LGP to read more than post. I'm not particularly knowledgeable about hockey but I love it and I always enjoyed reading good hockey discussion. I'm a patient person but there's only so many times you can read "we need to get bigger, stronger, younger, tougher, grittier" before it get...
