2020-2021 Pittsburgh Super Panthers Sports Thread

Not really surprised that they are 3-3 because Pitt, but they took a shittier path than usual to get there. I don't expect them to compete for National Championships but it's pretty depressing when they continually Pitt the bed when they have an opportunity to do something positive. I don't even rea...

Riikola and Beetle back to the fourth pairing for the third consecutive year. So **** weird.
No idea why they keep signing here when the team does anything possible not to play them... And why they keep re-signing them if they aren't going to play them... Very strange.

I struck on the Target deal. I have all wood or tiled floors in my apartment so I should be able to set up some cool tracks, and given the portable nature of the Switch, should travel well too.

I forgot Dusty Baker was the Astros manager. That somehow makes them even more hatable. After my parents got divorced, my mom dated (she was only in her mid-30s at the time). One person she dated was good friends with Dusty Baker; one game when the Giants were visiting Three Rivers, I got to go in ...

I've been getting this ad in mobile games for some game called Kitten Match. As best I can tell it's another generic matching game, but the ads are dark af... In one, a kitten looks on as the house it lived in burns to the ground. In another, a mother and daughter find a stray kitten and while drivi...

I will never forget the crowd cheering when Bell was announced as a scratch at one of the games I attended during his pre-shutdown season. Also, the infamous clip from The Best Damn Sports Show where Tom Arnold said "I'm just saying... You're batting under 200... You already shut the damn thing down."

Apparently the Mario version of Mario Kart Home Circuit sold out on Amazon in under 2 minutes. I haven't seen anything about the Luigi karts going live yet, but I would imagine it will be similar.

Anyone else see this?

It's expensive, but could be interesting. I'm taking a wait and see approach.

Congrats to all the recent new jobs, condolences to tiff. PTO wise, I took this week off, and I think I still have about 10ish days left... and we are technically only allowed to take 5 days in December (although your manager can approve more). So guess I am taking more time off over the next couple...

Taking a break from Spiderman after finishing the main story... Will come back for the dlc. Just didn't feel like more of the same. Currently playing Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. This is straight up a Symphony of the Night clone, not surprisingly some of the people worked on both games... That...

I had no rooting interest in either team. The big problem for me was that as soon as Tampa scored last night, the game felt over. Dallas wasn't even getting a whiff of a scoring chance. The previous 2 games were way more interesting (of course OT will do that), but this one was pretty meh. After 2-0...

Apparently PSN is having a massive "Big in Japan" sale now. If you've ever been remotely interested in the Yakuza series, $7.99 for Yakuza 0 is a goddamn steal for the amount of content that game provides.

Am I correct to assume that if you purchased a PS4 game digitally, you would be able to play it on your PS5, provided you are using the same PSN user name? I would expect so. The bigger issue would be does the game work on PS5? But supposedly Sony has said that 99% of the PS4 games they've tested w...

How does anyone listen to that guy? I was instantly triggered by his dumb face, but as soon as he outed himself as a Patriots fan and started being a massive chode (is the qualification even needed?), I bailed.

Just started Act III of Ghost of Tsushima. This game, man. My last 4 hours or so of gameplay to close out Act II were about as good as any game I've ever played. I lucked out with how I chose to do some of the side stories, and they added even more drama/impact to the eventual main story close of A...

Looks great. I've made that a couple times myself. I usually prefer a thinner crust, but there is something excellent about that crusty cheese on the edges... it reminds me kind of like when Pizza Hut was actually good back in the day with their pan pizza.

Having a blast with Spider-man so far. As soon as I got through the first couple missions, I basically ignored the story and went around and fixed all the towers and got the backpacks, fighting crime as the opportunity presented itself. I'd drink it again, and considering the cans are pounders the price wasn't too bad. I think I paid $12 for a four pack.
I'd buy it at 3 bucks a pop for sure. :thumb:

You know what really grinds my gears...

I FINALLY received my package today, 11 days after it shipped from Kansas. In that same time period I ordered something from San Diego that arrived in 6 days. Worth noting the latter was FedEx vs USPS for the former.
