I hope the only one that turns up is in the hands of a Steeler fan.

My wife had cadaver lab for PT school. Some of the students would look the people up and find out the back stories. Yeah, no thanks.
I have no plans to do that.

Well, my job search has ended. Starting Sept. 9th, I'll be a Quality Project Manager for a surgical robotics company in Pittsburgh.

As part of my onboarding, I will tour a cadaver lab. Which I actually think is kind of cool.

Been a while since I've been here. Thought I'd just let you know I'm still alive and still job hunting. 😆

Let me know if you want resume or other help!
Thanks. I've been working with an outplacement company and the consultant did a nice job updating my resume.

I think I'm going to try the Beyond Burger soon. Doesn't hurt to cut back on the meat consumption, although I don't eat nearly as much meat anymore to begin with.

It will take an incredible offer put together by the Pens or finding an incredibly stupid GM to move JJ. Hoping for the latter, know it will take the former.

My former employer is providing 3 months of free outplacement help. I was talking with my rep today, who mentioned the service can be put on hold for up to 59 days, and could be restarted. She knows I've been looking since 2 days after I was let go. She said "A little break is ok. Gives you time to ...

I recently discovered these at the speedway gas station here in the burgh. Paqui was known for their one chip challenge with a single heavily dusted ghost pepper tortilla chip. These by far are the spiciest chip I’ve ever tried. Way spicier than those hot ones from the Doritos roulette chips a few ...

Dave Molinari is the new Pens beat writer at DK Pittsburgh Sports. Always thought it odd that a Hall of Fame writer in hockey got moved to the PSU beat.
Still not enough to get me to re-up DK's site.

Took a few weeks off to get my head together after the layoff (which was massive and not over. More this month.)

I'm in a good place. I really hated my job at the end. 42 weeks severance, all health benefit paid in that time as well. So I have time to look for a job I actually want.

Does anyone have experience with a parent going into a nursing home and trying to protect some assets for the healthy spouse? This is pretty rough. I've been peaced out a couple times, both where roughly 50% of the company was laid off in one go, but there was no real warning either time. I can't imagine going to bed multiple nights in a row feeling like this was coming. Oddly enough, it's a good thing. I was able to clea...
