Disney now has an agreement with the great state of Florida assuring Reedy Creek's raison d'être is realized through the rest of DeSantis' time in office without having to incur the operational costs. With zero dead British monarchs. Also neat is the two new board members are not merely less hostile...

Will WDW still be around in ten years? Will Ron DeSantis still be governor? Do any of the articles mention that the two most antagonistic members of the new tourism board resigned within a few days of each other this month with no notice or reason? And that they were replaced with..... friendlier vo...

The Stanford campus is pretty amaze, would be a good way to spend a peaceful hour or so walking around. Honestly, that's about all we ever did there. It's a small college town that happens to sit in between two big cities.

The container ship was under the control of a harbor pilot at the time of the mishap, and was only travelling at approximately 8 knots. They had enough foreknowledge of the problems aboard ship to transmit a mayday call (sabres_goal.wav) before impact, and bridge crews were able to shut down the ing...

The shenanigans that will ensue from his early departure might be entertaining. I gather because of WI law his seat won't be filled until the new Congress is sworn in. So from April to January, the Republicans are now down to what amounts to a 1-vote majority. (Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's n...

It was pointed out that on the immediate heels of the first (probably last/only) kick returner getting into Canton we had the first Super Bowl with zero kick returns. Let it evolve with the times. I'm all for changing the kickoff to whatever format allows for the return of, er, returns. They can be ...

The coastal lines through Orange Co and northern SD Co have been intermittently closed because of landslide activity. That's a binary thing, there's no divert option for a train. FYI

Yes yes, I'd much rather do the safari park. But the main zoo and Midway are very close to each other, while the "San Diego Safari Park" is kind of nowhere near SD.
Also right by the zoo (downtown) is the SD Air & Space Museum, and there's a nice Japanese garden in the park in between the two.

The Steelers barely scored 300 points last year. I think simply adding like 4 pts a game would vault them into like Houston and Green Bay territory. That's middle pack, but after the last 50 games, I don't think too many Steelers fans would turn their noses up at that. Such a relatively small differ...

The example video the League presented at the press conference is online. With absolutely no evidence to backup this claim, I would not be the slightest bit surprised if there were 1,000s of these tackles in a given season without incident, regardless of what the NFL is citing as an 'injury rate' 25...

"A tackler grabs the runner with both hands or wraps the runner with both arms, and unweights himself by swiveling and dropping his hips and/or lower body, landing on and trapping the runner's leg(s) at or below the knee." Yes, everything about how GB84 turned out was practically perfect in every way, and any changes to story/script/casting.... any of the known 'alt' versions, really, would've lessened the final result.
