Oh there's a reset pinhole on the back of PS controllers, like on a phone. Restores factory defaults and such. I've heard that sometimes fixes controller drift.

Have you tried resetting the controller? The only other home fix I've heard of is simply cleaning the thing well.

Over the decades I've gotten quite good at masking that sort of thing, thankyouverymuch.
