So the Offensive Lines Will Be???

Malkin and hornqvist on the ice together isn't any less of a disaster than it was a day ago. Hope we don't see that out of the gate. Where did this come from? While Malkin hasnt played with Hornqvist for the time that Sid has, Hornqvist had put up better goal numbers with Malkin. Patric Hornqvist G...

So the Offensive Lines Will Be???

I think that is subject to change, GMJR was on TSN saying they want a 4th Line Center and another winger.

If you sign Semin to play RW, you have to add some grit on the LW. I dont think Kunitz is that answer. Do you look for a LW via trade? Do you try Plotnikov?

I'm 100% on the Alex Semin train. A one-year deal to him (like Ehrhoff or Brad Richards) makes the most sense out of any FA deal the Pens could make, and has huge potential reward for Semin as well. Gives Kapanen time to grow, provides a Russian right-wing sniper to play with Malkin and *insert-oth...

No doubt. I'd like to have Semin for the right price and term. I really like adding to the top 6 without having to move any assets.

 Tiops is saying the Pens had an offer from a western conference team for Kunitz. Tiops is about as unreliable as they come. I agree. Leading up to the draft i heard on the fan that the Ducks had interest in Kunitz. I wonder if he made it up or if an actual offer was made. Kunitz is the clo...

> Wants Loui Eriksson

Does not compute.
Loui is a UFA at seasons end. I would be happy with him for 1 year. Letang for 7 more seasons. No thanks.

OMG!!! If what I just saw is true, we should be able to trade Chris Kunitz for 2 first round picks: Bruins announce they've acquired Zac Rinaldo from the Flyers for a 2017 3rd-round pick. WTF is Don Sweeney doing in Boston???? That's hilarious, what are they doing? While they're making dumb moves, ...

Downie has good skill, and he is a good soldier who you can always count on to stick up for his teammates, but his inability to control himself became problematic. I won't miss him. Was it a problem in the playoffs? A lot of Downie's problems stem from the name on the back of his sweater and not hi...

If they are eating 2M on Kessel's deal as well as taking Kunitz and Scuderi the hang up has to be they want Maata in the deal.

I'd certainly rather have Frolik at $3.5M than Kessel at 8. And for God's sake, don't trade Pouliot.
Frolik will get 4.5 to 5M per.

Sorry if posted, Lebrun's thoughts on GMJR: http://espn.go.com/blog/nhl/post/_/id/38759/rumblings-penguins-waiting-for-price-to-drop-on-top-forwards But as Rutherford continues to dabble on Kessel, Sharp, Skinner or other candidates, my sense is Rutherford wants to slow-play it, hope that the price...

I dont have a favorite flavor, any chip that is fresh cut ala Fat Heads chips are good in my book. They are perfect with a side of wing sauce for dipping.

I'm relatively certain that Ron Burkle hasn't amassed a $2.6B fortune by allowing people, who shouldn't be making certain decisions, to make said decisions. No doubt about that, and I am never going to question his business acumen. But what is Ron Burkle's main goal? To win the Cup or increase the ...

The cap guru who watched us play with 5 dmen in critical games. Boterill might be just super. He'll need to establish a new reputation, however. I'd like to see how free agency plays out first before we go the trade route. If we can get Tlusty at a reasonable price, he would be a nice add to the left side in a Top 6 role. If Oshie can be had for Sutter I think you have to pull the trigger. We could have the below top 6 without giving up Poul...

I agree with slappy (though likely for a different reason). If we have to give up Pouliot for Oshie, the trade isn't worth it. The Skinner trade I can get more on board with, though I despise the idea of once again trading a first rounder. The Pens desperately need high-end (hell, even middle-end) ...
