https://twitter.com/jprutherford/status/614791066940604416 From what I've read the Leafs want Maatta and Harrington. There is no way the Pens make any move that involves trading Maatta. I am hopeful that is the delay. Part of me would rather keep Maatta, Harrington, and Pouliot; and sign stop gaps ...

NHL Entry Draft 2015

The general feeling I am getting is that Rutherford thinks he can get two top 6 forwards with the assets he has. I saw somewhere he has 2 targets with longer contracts and 2 targets with short term contracts. He wants to get one from each category. I believe Skinner and Kessel are the long term guy...

NHL Entry Draft 2015

No duh teams want our young D. No one wants our young forwards.
The Shero plan was to draft young defensemen and trade them for forwards. Now we are getting cold feet?

I'm fine with dealing Pouliot.

Marner his a human highlight reel, but he better start packing on some weight. Being 160lbs ain't going to cut it.

I think Pouliot is likely gone in a move for a top 6 forward. Personally I'm not a fan of Harrington

Yep. I wouldn't want Phaneuf for what scuderi makes.

Anyone get the sense that the pens are going to make a trade tomorrow?

Why does Kessel keep getting linked to the Pens. We just don't have the trade pieces. Sutter and Pouliot would be a start but not enough.

Sutter and kunitz are both being shopped. I personally think Sutter being shopped is due to our lack of trade pieces more than our inability or unwillingness to sign him.

He will probably score more goals in 15-16 than Semin at 1/8th the cost.

I'm perplexed by our supposed interest in Sharp. He seems like a minimal upgrade over Kunitz at this point in his career.

I just dont see how one can say Skinner shouldn't be explored because of concussions and in the same breathe defend keeping letang. If you think Skinner has health issues than the same should apply for Letang. I think Pens fans over value Letang because they look past the injuries. I would loved to...

In regards to the rumors and Rutherford interviews over the past few days: *I always thought adding a 1st or 2nd round pick in this draft was a pipedream. Not sure how that would be accomplished given our lack of assets. Anything picks/prospects that we have in our system will be used to acquire a ...

Holy cow, man...let's ignore the ridiculousness for a second and ask this, "does Letang really have more concussions than Jeff Skinner...?" that would be surprising to me, despite how much longer Letang has been in the league... Letang had 2 in 2012, had symptoms in 2013 and 2 this past season. So ...

Letang brings far more to the table than Skinner ever possibly could. And style of play suggests that Skinner is much more prone to being injured than Letang. For those that watch the Canes regularly, you know that Skinner gets lit up almost every night...while Letang can escape danger much of the ...

Maybe it's because we don't have a hate boner for him? And maybe it's because he offers something to the lineup that few can replace? That statement is only accurate when you include, when he is healthy. It's funny because pens fans say they don't want a guy who has concussion problems, yet don't c...

Would Carolina really deal Skinner? There's been some rumors out there that they aren't happy with him. Friedman even had a section on it today on his 30 thoughts, and made mention that he knows Rutherford had inquired about Skinner at least once. (Though not saying if that was last summer, during ...
