The power play wasn't just ineffective at scoring. They allowed far too many shorthanded goals. I would expect a small improvement in both the former and the latter. Plus, I believe a couple of teams in the conference will take a step back this season. I predict they will finish with 96 points.

I agree with the assessment of JSI. While he doesn't have a high ceiling, he could become a solid bottom pair defenseman. Ruhwedel carved out a niche for himself in a similar fashion. Maybe JSI can become the new Chad.
