I think I finally printed something that dodint may appreciate. My dad loves Corvettes, so I found a model of a 1957 Vette, printed all of the parts, and then assembled it as best I could. I actually printed the body twice because the first one bubbled on the surface (top wall wasn't thick enough), ...

What infill pattern are you using? The default on most slicers is grid, which is trash, and can cause the hot end to scrape across the top. If your slicer has something like Adaptive Cubic, try that instead, and use no more than 15% infill. Way faster and stronger.

^Good advice. We got lucky and landed tickets day-of, but that was sheer luck as it was supposed to rain and I suppose some people cancelled. It didn’t rain, and we enjoyed the trip.

I want to say that I made between $6-7/hour at a local grocery store (my first job). I've been keeping track of my salary history since 2000, where I made between $7-9/hour working at a Staples distribution warehouse.

The Alcatraz tour is 100% a must do, IMO. Make sure you actually get the legit tour that gets you onto the island, and not one of the ones where you just sail around it. https://www.cityexperiences.com/san-fra ... /alcatraz/

Some backyard shots from the other day. About 10 seconds after I left, I saw a bluebird on the feeder, which is starting to happen more frequently. Don't really see them too often. https://i.imgur.com/ubEvDjB.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/tjGgXRJ.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/ZOBMCcq.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/...

I wouldn’t go more than 10’ off the ground. That was my first thought... imagine that first flight of something that you built. Terrifying.Neat. I don't have the time, money, or testicular fortitude to fly anything I've built myself.

The movie was good. Now, onto 4DX. The biggest issue, by far, was the fact that the seats are incredibly uncomfortable. Imagine an airplane seat without padding. During heavy action sequences, the seats just move way too much, sometimes jarringly. It wasn’t pleasant for those scenes. The back of the...

****, you’re the contrarian here, not me. I have a feeling that I’ll like the seat movement so long as it’s not constant shaking, but the water thing is probably going to just be annoying. I think they also use fog machines in here.

There is a button on the seat to turn the water off. So now I wonder if it’s a mist or I’m going to get shot in the face with a super soaker.
