CAD & 3D Printing Thread
Just started a new multi-piece print for my daughter. Three plates total, and two of them are over 19 hours each. I may actually start those ones late so that any issue, like a filament runout, is likely to happen in the morning instead of the middle of the night.

I printed the tiles in PETG, though it seems like most just use PLA unless you live in a crazy hot climate. The system can be confusing with all of the different connection types, but definitely sturdy. I used E-Z Anchors for the tile mounts to the drywall, since my studfinder managed to incorrectly...

The screenshot I saw this morning showed that she had between 15-35% in multiple states, including a few swing states. She dropped out of the race months ago, so that's pretty telling, IMO.

I printed out a bunch of Multiboard tiles, and then designed some holders for a number of my tools in onshape and printed them. This allowed me to hang the stuff I regularly use and free up space in the drawer for other things. Total print time was around 14 hours. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kj...

SW's entire fleet, unless I'm mistaken, consists entirely of 737s - half old, half MAX. On anything other than a MAX, you're not getting a ton of leg room, so I'm curious about which Delta metal you're comparing it to.

1236728 They have to dehydrate reels from time to time, and even have a specialized machine just for that. Who knew? This is like the default answer online to any print issue - "did you dry your filament?". It's also why I love my AMS. Four spools sit in a closed environment with a ton of des...

I do wish I could find AGM batteries locally, but nobody carries the model that either of our cars would require. On a side note, the portable car charger I bought off Amazon years ago for like $80 has worked great. I've used it half a dozen times now for my car and a neighbor's car. Beats the hell ...

Battery died in the wife’s CR-V. We got 7 years out of that Duralast Gold, which is easily the longest I’ve seen in forever. In a bind because we both need our cars tomorrow, and Costco was closing in 30. So I figured, just go to AutoZone. $205 after the core… JFC. Costco’s interstate batteries are ...

Once I find stuff I like, I buy multiples in case they discontinue them, which has happened to me numerous times now. Wish I did that for my last pair of sneakers, because Adidas went to the circus after they were released.Source of the post Then I replace them with the exact same make and model.

It’s gorgeous outside, so I just spent the last 3 hours pressure washing the house, fence and garage. Wife bought me lemon scented Simple Green, and man is that much more pleasant than the normal stuff. Gonna pressure wash the patio either tomorrow or next weekend, whenever it’s sunny out.
