Carl Jung vs Sigmund Freud
Jung was about personality types right? I really like the MBTI as a practical application for understanding how someone ticks (mostly business-related, but personal is nice too) and if he was the genesis of the concept, Jung all day.

VOTF is either a staffer at CBS radio or is actually just Pittsburgh Dad Jr.. but I enjoyed reading this nonetheless. If you take Madden seriously, I think you're taking life too seriously. If you take Madden as funny, then you probably aren't overly investing your thoughts in radio show hosts, and ...

For those that are married, about what % of invitees attended? For our pgh reception, we are inviting around 180. I think it's reasonable to expect 15-30 won't show, but was hoping for some empirical backup.

Still have contact info for violinist in OBX?irt music, we had a single violinist at our ceremony. It was outdoors on the OBX and was a small crowd, so it worked well. Quite beautiful.
DJ for the reception.
BEER
shmenguin, have you tried any of the Omission stuff? I see it all the time in the stores here. there's not really any point in that for me. i've snobbed out over the years and stuck to my limited amount of brands. so if i can't have those, i'd probably rather have wine than beer that i don't love. ...

Thanks for the heads up that Fresh Squeezed would be old right now. How do you know that? Brewery websites? I agree that the DIPAs/Imperials are easier for noobs due to malt/sweetness. But still, nobody liked the 90min last year. I really don't want to give in to mass appeal, because these things ar...
BEER
I've consumed all of these suggested brews except the Goose Island. Come to think of it, I've never had any Goose Island. Fresh squeezed hadn't come to mind, but that's a great idea. And it's slightly more expensive, but will still be cheaper than last year's purchase of 90 min which runs $50-$55/ca...

Lagunitas Hop Stoopid. It's a citra bomb. And it is excellent. :thumb: I endorse this post. I have a neighborhood "beer crawl" coming up. Everyone selects a beer and we go around the neighborhood spending ~15-20 min at each house trying the beer and some snacks. Last year, I had Dogfish Head 90 min...

Narduzzi = Wannstedt :pop: Biggest mistake was running Wanny out. If Narduzzi=Wanny, I'm good. It's always been funny to me how people place blame on coaches for kids getting arrested. What do you want the coach to do? Implement harsher disciplinary policies? That doesn't actually stop anyone from ...

Did anyone hear the guy on the fan yesterday who has the "highly superior autobiographical memory"? Fewer than 60 people in the world identified with it. He can remember almost everything about every day of his life. It was pretty crazy. Starkey was testing him on what happened in random Steelers ga...

What I said was pretty outlandish and deliberately provocative, I certainly hope it wasn't taken as a serious thing. I feel my emotions have destabilized in direct connection with your comment. jk I think that's actually a legitimate opinion. My fiancee shares the same opinion, but my self-consciou...

We were under 9k for 120 people for our wedding. That included Booze, food(buffet style), setup, cleanup etc. We also had the reception and wedding in the same place(Wife and I didn't get married in a church). We set a budget and stuck to it, cause we knew neither of our families could afford to pu...

Thanks for all of the input and subsequent entertainment! Currently trying to plan a honeymoon, and I know this is something completely subjective and dependent upon the individual, but I was trying to figure out what a reasonable budget is. We'd both be happy regardless of whether it's a big ordeal or humble and small. I was hoping some people could weigh...

This morning I was thinking about how much I miss Giannotti. You and I were sharing brainwaves then. And I don't mind Poni at all anymore. I loathed him when he had his solo show in the evenings, but he's much much better since joining Cook. I'd love to see Poni go to the morning show somehow. Even...

In his defense, the woman on the St. Louis radio show had an all-time terrible comment for a sports radio station. She said something to the effect of: "There are bigger things to hate. Shouldn't we have a #HateISIS hashtag?"

Colin Pittsburgh Dad Jr. is the worst. This morning he plays a snippet of himself on St. Louis radio yesterday because he started a hashtag #HateTheCards. He was all indignant because after the St. Louis station got done interviewing him and he was off the line, they made some comments that the hash...

I thought $10 for two "sets" was a good deal for something to add to the overall package. It'll end up being these with some beer and booze, and I'm picking up their shirt, tie, and pocket square since we are buying suits instead of renting tuxes.

They probably trimmed out the stuff that either A) didn't make them money, or B)weren't ordered alot. 80 sandwiches when you think about it.. is nuts. The answer is that those are one in the same. The ones that weren't ordered a lot led to inventory that went bad (loss of money). A friend of mine w...
