Playoff GDT: Round II, Game III - Pens v Caps
Since the NHL and the refs refuse to enforce the rules, I have no problem with the Pens taking matters into their own hands and having someone blow out Ovie’s knee. That isn't the way. If you want to go big, a reasonable option would be for the Pens to refuse to take the ice until the league addres...

It wasn't Mr. Aston-Reese's shoulder that was bleeding all over the place afterward.Am I that biased that it's a hit to the head?

I actually agree with that call. Doesn't make up for the non-calls on deliberate headshots, but Kuhn held the stick there.Really? Holding the stick on Kuhnhackl? Go **** yourself, officials. Seriously....such **** bullshit in this series already.

This. And worse, beer league refs see it and think that's how the game should be called. Then guys baseball swing at my head a few times a year with no consequences. Someone is going to die because of this. This is what happens when the refs don't enforce the rules.

It will be a disgrace to the game of hockey and sports in general if Mr. Wilson ever plays hockey again after that hit. But my guess is the league will be completely incompetent as usual and nothing will come of this until someone literally dies.

You're doing it and I wish you wouldn't do it Eh, I mean, I know. But the homerism that comes with saying the only two goals a team gives up were 'unstoppable' is just as bitter to me as my writing is to you. They don't win that game without that stellar effort from Murray, though. I'm happy to say...

Maybe. Unfortunately two shots to the same quad of the net that happened to be 'unstoppable' got to him. Just unlucky that way. You're doing it and I wish you wouldn't do it Eh, I mean, I know. Some other beauties pulled from Twitter Giroux: 3 pts -10 Mrazek: .857% Elliott: .856% Neuvirth: .847% And somehow their goalies were responsible for keeping them in the series. Contrary to popular (read: stupid people) belief, games and series are not won by averages or ratios... If they average m...

That pass from Malkin to Letang for the first assist was really nice. He had to zip the puck by Wennberg, which he did, and still managed to give the open Letang a catchable pass right on the tape.

Maybe the coaches bought that non-call by riding the referees about previous calls? Sure looked like a penalty to me.Not sure how they don’t call a penalty on Maatta there

Well, note carefully I said wheel hardness has nothing to do with the load on the bearings - not that it has nothing to do with the friction problem, which could be caused by some combination of load and other things that do depend upon wheel hardness. The neat thing about science is that we tend to...

I can't answer dodint's original question because I'm not an inline skater and do not have an expert knowledge of how inline skate bearings and chassis deform under load and heat. I can, however, provide an authoritative physics answer to one scenario mentioned above. So long as there are no points ...
