Black Friday and Other Great Deals

700 clams...?!?!? How many pieces? Not that it matters...
It's not so much how many pieces, it's the $tar War$ name that is attached to it. The Millennium Falcon is one of the most sought after sets, which drives up the price.

My 6 year old is totally into all the legos and wants the biggest sets. $700 for the millennium falcon is ludicrous. Get a new hobby, kid

There has, no ****, been construction on the turnpike somewhere between Cranberry and Allegheny Valley Continuously for the past 18 years. My commute has been Butler Valley to Monroeville the past 5 years since I've moved here. Been construction ever since, and will continue to be until at least 20...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOpf-xw9FNU Being that my job involves designing parts for locomotives, this made it around the office pretty quick yesterday. My first thoughts were 1) surprised the bridge was able to sustain that amount of force and 2) wtf was that person doing with their cell pho...

I "read" the first one via audiobook, but since I WFH most of the time, it's hard to get through an entire book anymore. It's one of the few negatives of WFH.

Thanks for all the info NTP. My current mortgage is through Northwest, and they haven't been anything special. When I called today for a statement which is needed for the refi, they didn't bat an eye and didn't seem to care that I was not going with them. So I really don't have any bullets in my bac...

Saw this on better.com today
The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) is introducing a 0.5% fee on all refinances. Avoid paying extra by locking your rate by 9/20

Is anything with the Amazon brand not made in China? I deal with products from there on a daily basis, and I can tell you if there is a way to shortcut safety/quality measures, they have found it.

825881 There are a few things that could account for it: 1) difference in regulations or ability for emergency approval or 2) maybe the 2022 thing is for wide spread distribution. There is going to be controversy no matter what. And if Trump touts it, forget about it. Theyre not going to give you an unsafe vaccine. They just aren't. Thinking otherwise is Bill Gates microchip level lunacy. I love the optimism but question the rationale. What part of the last 6 months makes yo...

Is this game on a local station or ESPN only? Can’t seem to find it Channel 4 (ABC), and presumably ESPN as well. Weird seeing a punt returner catch the ball and then advance it. Can our team try that? Thanks. Local channel 4 doesn’t come in thru the antenna. I get the Johnstown? ABC channel but it...

There's a definite drop off in Season 4 when Dan Harmon leaves, but even still the season is strong enough to carry them through without much of a hitch. We just watched Pierce's funeral episode in Season 5 which had me rolling at the end with the sperm canisters.

Couple years ago we were having a late brunch outside at Pamela’s in Mt. Lebo and Britta was taking a walk up Washington Rd. She’s hot. As for Community, I’m in the same boat as many here. I loved the first season but lost track of the show once the Navy stole all my free time. Absolutely great sho...
