I can’t believe the Bengals overcame Joe Burrows inability to throw a ball away.

And you can move it up too. I was in the M&M Runaway Railroad line when the ride broke down and I was able to move it up to basically right away when I bailed out of line.

Also, COVID tests willing, we're headed to Destin next weekend for my wife's 40th. Any course reviews for the area?

Had a fun afternoon. It's been bugging me that I have zero confidence or proficiency with my driver. I wasn't just bad, it was actually completely unhittable. So I went back to extreme core fundamentals and used an alignment stick to make sure I was placing the ball in the correct spot in my stance...

PCR Tests?
PCR tests apparently have the ability to pickup the virus even when you're no longer contagious. The CDC recommends antigen testing to end a quarantine period.
Or, it was a false negative January 10th.

I don't know. I think if you explained that it was cheap way to a vacation that wasn't really a vacation they might understand. If you plan on making it a usual thing that you never stay in their house, then you've got to explain that there isn't really enough room for you guys to enjoy your time th...

Are you prepared to argue there's a roll for the federal government with a guy who ranks Lincoln among the worst Presidents in history? Articles of Confederation FTW! Not quite as bad as FDR, but probably second worst, yes. Although in terms of overall impact on American government, Lincoln probabl...

"Nothing happens" is a feature, not a bug.
eh. “Nothing happens” inherently benefits conservativism. There’s a bias there

The filibuster is stupid and the country went nearly 50 years without it. It functionally changes the necessary votes to pass legislation from 51 to 60 for no reason other than to stop anything from ever getting done. Originally, the talking filibuster gave people the chance to make their case and c...

They're both going to get replaced by Republicans and have a fine career as the devil's advocate on cable shows, while the rest of us quietly complain from our basements in fear of the Gestapo.

This is why my wife didn't work when the kids were little. The difference between the salary of a Social Worker with no Masters degree and daycare plus taxes wasn't worth it, plus she got all that time with them. Think we paid $80 a month for preschool two mornings a week. The Masters barely made i...

I guess my point was I'm not sure saying they have a massacre problem is really quite accurate Agreed. But as mikey says it's a completely different society in terms proximity as well, so I don't think you can make a 1:1 correlation. I look at the Australia list and wouldn't claim they have a massa...

That list includes a drive-by where 2 people were killed and 4 injured. That sounds like a calm weekend in Ft. Wayne.

That was murder. The Vee was flat out even under caution so if anything happened to you your race was done.

I still love things like the 410 Sprints around Le Mans, and they sort of did that with the Silver Crown at Watkins Glen, but it was actually too racey and could compete with the GT3 cars.

For the most part the racing is just as clean as my past leagues, despite it being completely farcical race formats where contact is expected. You could very easily have one or two jerk offs intentionally wrecking people and ruin the fun, but most of the regulars get it. And I made it into the final...
