Star Wars discussion (SPOILERS INCLUDED)

This is very much for kids, but it has the feel and aesthetic of an 80s children's adventure movie, so it's hitting that nostalgia note for me. It even has kids on speeder bikes. It's a completely new side of Star Wars that I don't think we've seen before. I dig the characters, the story seems solid...

I was browsing Etsy for a 2025 calendar and stumbled upon a company called alternate histories. Saw they ship from Pittsburgh, so I decided to go to their actual shop to take a look. I ordered a few things and needed $10 more dollars to get to free shipping and saw this for $12 and figured I'd just...

It's fine. Probably my least favorite of the princess films. It's more interesting for its historic significance than the film itself.

Already at 9.4k dislikes vs 5.7k likes. I'm sure the discussion around this movie will be completely civil.

Flight and tickets booked for DLP in April. Can't wait. I've been itching to go back ever since our first visit. There will be a few new things, though unfortunately World of Frozen won't open until 2026. The Lion King log flume probably won't be until 2027. Oh well, that'll just be another excuse t...

Yeah, it’s Workday. It seems pretty straight forward it’s just frustrating that all I’m hearing is how intuitive it is and yet I have to sit through a 2 hour training.

The best part is no longer having to enter a time card if you’re salary. I never understood the point of that.

I'm guessing his hit on Caleb Williams (and subsequent punch to Roschon Johnson) earlier this year played into it too. Also, the full statement makes it clear that what happened after the hit also played into it. During your game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on December 1, with 4:20 remaining in...

We're moving to a new HR platform next year. In the 2 hour training, they keep saying how intuitive it is. TWO HOURS of mandatory training for an "intuitive" platform.

This just isn’t passing the smell test. Bills Mafia are drinkers for sure but they aren’t known for being classless or rude to opposing fans. Even if they were, I find it hard to believe a fan would knowingly push a child down the stairs, even if the fan was drunk and the girl was wearing the opposi...

Does anyone have any experience with those emulator on a stick devices that come with 2 wireless controllers and 20000+ games? It’s a pretty small price to pay for some security. My nephew just had his PSN account stolen and that wouldn’t have happened with 2FA. My mom has had her social media accounts “hacked” on multiple occasions but still refuses to use 2FA for the same reason you hate it.

I’m 5 issues into Preacher and I’m just not enjoying it at all. I think I’m going to put it back on the shelf for now. Recent reads: Steve Martin’s Born Standing Up. Really fun and quick read. Also lead me down a rabbit hole of his standup, which was great. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. ...

I don’t care if he’s in jail. Pardoning your son is gross. As I said, nothing matters. If you’re rich and powerful you can do whatever the **** you want. MAGA acting appalled at the pardon is hilarious.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to get my head back in the sand. Only 4 more years to go.

That’s the easy out that I’m sure they’ll take it. Hopefully road teams come up with something else that gets under the skin of the home team losers.

Nothing matters. The rich and powerful get away with everything because they are rich and powerful. MAGA can’t be mad about pardons when they voted for a convicted felon to be president.
