It sure is. Sounds like outtakes from the Burns documentary soundtrack, and I mean that in the best possible way.

So Since they lost the flash drive their warmup music was on from last year and they have not been motivated to make a new one and clear through the AD, I am dj-ing the HS soccer team’s warmup as part of my PA announcer duties. Need some suggestions for some school appropriate warm up tunes. Here i...

I think this has happened before recently, but the NHC ran out of names for tropical storms and hurricanes and had to switch to the Green alphabet. And we’re already at TS Beta.

I am feeling particularly ornery today for some reason, but I had a good chuckle about an Amazon Alexa hardware event. Basically celebrating new ways to gather data on their customers to sell to third parties, and for bad actors and governments to spy on you. And we PAY for the privilege.

Am I correct to assume that if you purchased a PS4 game digitally, you would be able to play it on your PS5, provided you are using the same PSN user name?

Watching the new Challenger documentary on Netflix. Four parts, produced by JJ Abrams. It's pretty good so far, but it's kind of shocking how many people in hindsight knew the o-rings on the booster rockets were garbage. Not surprising is how many of the interview subjects in the documentary when th...

I haven't watched that yet, but I think I know what you are talking about the narrative thing - highly dramatized almost reenactments of events told by the actual people. It seems to be the new documentary style, as I've seen it in two other recent documentaries (both on Netflix IIRC). Really annoyi...

Speaking of console exclusives, there's a COD Cold War multiplayer alpha this weekend just for PS4 owners (don't even need PS+ to play). My son, a COD enthusiast and good player, mostly plays on PC for a multitude of reasons. So I texted him to see how it was (he's got a flex day today, so no school...

We have two cases on campus - one student, one staff member. But 35 students in quarantine...because of activities off campus. Mostly, local students went home or to other larger SC universities and partied. Good times.

My kids like to get PS4 games on disc so they can trade them in. They just took a stack of old games and traded them all for Madden 21 and had money left over for MUT points or whatever BS microtransactions are in that game.

I see a lot of shows announced on D+, but very few concrete air dates - even prior to the pandemic. I know they need to coax monthly subscribers to keep the subs active, but at some point they are going to have to actually deliver some of these shows.

I honestly thought we'd never see another complete game from a Pirates pitcher. With all of the injured arms on pitch count limits and general lack of skill.

Yes. Wait a few years to maximize profits. :pop: There is a whole side industry of LEGO designers who design custom sets and use software to generate instructions and parts lists to sell. The end user gets the instructions and a parts file that uploads to Bricklink.com (like ebay for LEGO) and finds...

Tell me about it. I went back and searched an instructions database for a few of the sets I had growing up. I loved the classic space line, and some of the largest sets back then had 200-300 pieces. The entry level sets have more than that now, and the ones I listed above have 3000+ pieces. They are...

They are really going for the nostalgia and older crowd these days. The new Mos Eisley Cantina set is $350; there is a Harry Potter Diagon Alley set in that price range as well. 10 year olds aren't asking for that stuff, it's their Gen X and older millennial parents gobbling those sets up.
