So either way, if he drops out the populous doesn't get to have any say whatsoever in the candidate. I've seen proposals for a sort of "mini primary" where all of the potential replacement candidates have to announce themselves in advance and maybe even have a debate, but I don't think those propos...

I might be wrong, but I don't see any mention of #2 on the list above (he drops and endorses someone). I would imagine that if Biden expressly endorses someone, that person would be most likely to get delegate votes, but I don't think the delegates have to vote for that person. The DNC's rules are p...

Shyster's thread of Spaaaace.

SpaceX and NASA released some renders of the deorbit vehicle that will be used for the ISS around 2030 or so. It will use an existing cargo Dragon attached to an service module based on an extended version of the usual Dragon "trunk" that will be packed with fuel tanks containing 16 tons of propelle...

I'm a federal employee. That doesn't give me license to be an unabashed moron. Try that I might. True, and there is some flexibility (and vagueness) in the 1A test for public employees, but I think it would be far from a slam-dunk case that the government could fire those people, even for saying th...

I'm 48 and still 100% in stocks. I have about 50% in large-cap funds, 35% in mid- and small-cap funds, and 15% in international funds. All of the mutual funds are "growth" or "growth and income" funds. I have two or maybe three funds in each category. Like for large-cap I have an S&P 500 index fund ...

That wasn’t my point… it was that concerned parents shouldn’t have had a gun unsecured enough that their son could get it. My understanding from, I think, listing to local coverage on KDKA is that the son asked the father if he could borrow the rifle because he was going to take the day off work an...

I don't own a smart watch, but as an aviation geek I'd probably go with Garmin just because they're also one of the largest manufacturers of electronic flight instrument systems and make the "glass cockpit" avionics systems for Beech, Cessna, Cirrus, Piper, Bell, Diamond, Daher, and Embraer, among o...

Why have the gun available to be taken?

No one needs a gun. They need two or three. Maybe 10. Okay, 20, but 50 is my final offer.

Besides if that image is right it was an extendable ladder. They're only like a foot tall when they're collapsed down.
I have one like that. I think mine is 15 feet? It even has a shoulder strap for easy carrying.

Ohhh, an ethics code. Get 'em, tiger
And term limits… not that either will happen.

The would both need a constitutional amendment, so I agree that neither would happen. Term limits and a Congress-mandated ethics code would both be unconstitutonal.
