Bell & Evans breaded uncooked chicken patties are delicious. Expensive, though. A box of four costs as much as a 10-patty bag from the cheapo brands, but IMO the extra price is worth it.

I hate volumetric measurements for food items. Everything should be defined by weight or mass.

Ok, I looked him up. I see Castro was a HUD secretary under Obama and the mayor of San Antonio.

I would say I'm probably more politically cued in than the average American, so it doesn't bode well for his presidential ambitions that I had no idea who he is.

United Launch Alliance is scheduled to launch the Advanced Extremely High Frequency 4 (AEHF-4) satellite for the Air Force shortly after midnight tonight, east coast time. AHEF-4 is the fourth in the next generation of high-speed communications satellites for the US military. AHEF-4 must be a big bi...

Shyster's opinions: Diagonal jersey is fine. Blue jerseys are bad. Don't like blue. The late 90s asymmetrical jersey with the gray stripes on one sleeve is horrible. I despise that jersey.

Ruger just announced the creation of the Ruger Custom Shop, which looks like a competitor to the S&W Performance Center. The initial offerings are a (really expensive) SR1911 and a (really expensive) 10/22.

Shower thought: If hazelnut-flavored coffee is everywhere, why don't we see other nut-flavored coffee? I've never seen cashew or walnut coffee, for example.

Yes, politicians lie. Politicians have lied since the the first politicians. But there hasn’t been a single human in the history of our country in any sort of significant public office that lies like our president. Not one single person. He lies about things that he said publically and is recorded....

Ya. I see it was also created just last week. It's going to be a shell company that was just formed to buy/hold the assets. The corporate guys love to create new companies. It's not uncommon to see an LLC owned by an LLC owned by a limited partnership where the general partner is a corporation whose...

I would imagine "Brewery Acquisition Company" is a company created by Helltown as part of its bid so that a separate company will be acquiring the assets. It's very common in business transactions to see companies like "[Name] Acquisition Company" or "[Name] Merger Sub" or "[Name] Real Estate Holdin...

I buy rum once a year to make fruitcake. Whatever is left over from the baking usually gets added to cola. Most years I've been going with Gosling's Black Seal.

I recognize that it's whataboutism, but it strikes me that the United States doesn't have much of a leg to stand on to complaint about Saudi Arabia whacking one of its own citizens. The feds have not only claimed the right to engage in extrajudicial killings of US citizens, they've actually done it....

To say this was a bad day for the Russian space agency would be a huge understatement. As most have probably seen by now, the Soyuz vehicle on the MS-10 crew launch to the ISS Did Not Go To Space Today and suffered a catastrophic failure at approximately the time of strap-on booster separation. Fort...
